Beneath the crisp September skies of Paris, the 3rd Sino-French Fashion & Culture Festival concluded on a note of inspiration and innovation, unfolding from September 29 to October 6, 2025. Framed by the annual theme “Integration and Transcendence” and held during the Sino-French Year of Cultural Tourism, the festival reimagined fashion as a dynamic force—a living language of cultural exchange and creative collaboration.
For decades, the partnership between China and France has been characterized by depth, dialogue, and a commitment to mutual enrichment. Building on this legacy, the festival created a space where fashion became both medium and message—a bridge linking heritage with tomorrow. Through a thoughtfully curated program of runway showcases, thematic exhibitions, expert-led forums, and curated receptions, the event wove together the distinct yet complementary creative spirits of both nations.
Beyond aesthetics, the festival served as a laboratory of ideas—a place where designers, thinkers, and creators explored how fashion can transcend borders, foster understanding, and drive meaningful innovation. In blending Eastern sensibility with Western flair, tradition with transformation, the festival not only celebrated what fashion is, but also illuminated what it can become: a canvas for cultural connection and a catalyst for a shared creative future.

Presentation
Fashion Technology Exhibition
At the intersection of haute couture and cutting-edge innovation, the Fashion Technology Exhibition unveiled a compelling vision for the industry’s future. A central highlight was the seamless integration of Rokid AR Glasses, which transformed the viewing experience by overlaying digital garments, intricate design histories, and animated fabric textures onto live models, creating a captivating layered narrative. This digital immersion was physically echoed by the EngineAI humanoid robot, which glided down the runway adorned with luxurious accessories from the historic French house of Petrusse. The exquisite scarves, with their iconic prints and silken flow, draped over the robot’s precise movements, presented a striking dialogue between timeless artisan craftsmanship and robotic precision. Together, this triad demonstrated a harmonious ecosystem where augmented reality enriches perception, intelligent automation redefines presentation, and heritage brands like Petrusse anchor the spectacle in tangible, beautiful artistry.
Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage Day
Forging a super IP for Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage Day in France, a powerful convergence of ancient craft and modern design is taking shape. This vision is realized through groundbreaking collaborations like the “Thousands of Miles of Rivers and Mountains” collection, where kesi silk tapestry meets haute couture, and the sculptural “Inquiring of Zen in Wood Grain” gown, which transforms nanmu wood into frozen drapery. The initiative extends from Zhang Yahua’s philosophically-driven Shanghai-style fashions to regal formalwear adorned with gold embroidery, and into the olfactory realm with scent diffusers using historic “Yunzi” stones and perfumes evoking ink-wash poetry. Each piece translates a profound heritage narrative into a contemporary luxury object, collectively building an immersive and desirable cultural legacy for the world.
Ivette Bianchi
The designer of the fashion brand Ivette Bianchi, Ivet Apostolova, winner of the most prestigious fashion award in Bulgaria “Golden Needle” in the category “Best Young Designer” for 2024, made a photo shoot with her latest collection “Romance Written in Black and White”. Every design element – from fine lace to contemporary silhouettes – is carefully selected to create harmony between the past and the present. “Romance Painted in Black and White” is not just a fashion collection, but a real work of art that combines classic elegance with the modern zeitgeist.
ZAADY
"My passion for fashion runs deep. It is through an alternative spirit and a distinctive stylistic approach that I masterfully integrate metropolitan 'street' elements into my creative work." This is not merely a design statement for ZAADY, but a creative philosophy ingrained in its very DNA. Here, "alternative" transcends mere nonconformity - it represents a conscious refusal to follow trends, an elegant rebellion against conventional aesthetics norms. Meanwhile, "street" is no longer a literal space but is distilled into an untamed, vital, raw energy. These creations transcend the realm of mere clothing; they are externalizations of the wearer's inners personasophistication displayed by street-style icons under the spotlight. It is precisely such a vanguard that ZAADY cultivates: individuals who navigate seamlessly between diverse scenarios with confidence, sharpness and undeniable style.
